Frank starts his job tomorrow.
"After meeting with a housing counselor, homeowners will have the opportunity to meet with an on-site attorney to discuss the housing counselor’s recommendations and prepare for a court date that will determine whether the foreclosure case can be mediated with the lender."

It is still pretty cool here on the Florida room porch, but I think it is better than it was yesterday morning. The change in temperature is dramatic once the sun comes out.
Elizabeth talked to Dana yesterday and he seems to be busy but doing well. He had this flu that seems to be going around and was out of work a couple days. Keith has had it and it has been in Peter's family as well. A number of my Facebook friends have caught it. It is severe enough to be mentioned unlike a common cold. Keith was even sleeping out on the couch so as not to spread it around.
Margot is out visiting in Chicago, so hopefully all there are beyond the contagious stage.
We watched Downton, Abbey last night as it progresses through its second season. Oddly, Elizabeth knows how all of this will end. There is closure in the final installment and she has already seen that one. It seems there are other viewers out there who complained that the series ended without closure, so they aired the end of the second season before the season itself. Seems mad to me. I have to keep Elizabeth from telling me what can't happen now because she had seen the ending.
I like the show. It does not seem too drawn out now that I know it will end in some way that finalizes the plot threads rather than continuing them in soap opera style.
Does anyone sell soap on the soap operas anymore?
And speaking of soap, does Ivory still float? I think I'd like a bar for my next bubble bath.

Happy Birthday Martin Luther King!
I feel sorry that you did not have the pleasure of retirement. I know we lost all that you would have added to our sense of how to treat one another here in the USA. Your messages shaped my life more than any other single public figure.

The garbage trucks came through this morning. A huge noise for this absolutely quiet neighborhood.

I thought that I had trouble deciding about what to do for a better dock, but down here it can be a 50 million dollar decision.

We were a long way away from Brother Tiko last week, but he and the family were eating the same sort of fish on Antigua Island.

This afternoon we swam at the pool and may have made a connection with a friendly woman who will take us out in kayaks. She would like to get on the Homosassa River, so that is the trade. If it happens , it will be a pretty good trade.
We had a blizzard and snack at Dairy Queen. Decadent.
We drove up to see the Gulf of Mexico from a boat launch and very small beach up in Yankee Town/Inglis. It was nice, but we like the other beach better.
Still, it was fine to look out at the islands and out as far as we could see into the Gulf. Fishermen came in with one small snapper that they released. They put their pontoon on a great trailer that allowed them to just motor on up and with very little effort be secured. No ratchet needed. I was impressed.
The water in the Gulf seems warmer than the water in this pool at the house. A young mother and her two year old were froliking on the edges and playing. It was fine to see them.
I stopped at Penny's, but no pants fit me. Even 29 length is just too long. I guess I'll get some cheap ones at Wallmarts and do my own sewing of the cuff as I did last year. Either that or try to order some on line, but if 29 length does not work, what will?
House managers are coming tomorrow to look at the stove to see if they can figure out how to get it working again.
