Another fine day here in Florida. A bit chilly in the morining.
Yesterday I gambled for about 12 hours with a short break for the buffet. I lost $45 and played both 2-4 and a 3-6 Omaha game that I liked.

Elizabeth and Ann Marie did grocery shopping and went to the Manatee park on our free pay. So that worked out well.
I found the trip back really easy again, even on a Saturday night although I would have liked to play into the early morning, but was too tired and left at 12:30. I had a great time.
This morning I finished the Light in August Faulkner novel. It did not satisfy. A bit dark and just too much drama and inner turmoil over things that are entirely unnecessary to cover in all the drama. We do make too much of ourselves and our moral dilemmas.
The character who started the novel, a young girl pregnant and going to seek the man who deserted her, is perhaps the most appealing. Although she is the character who everyone sees as destiture and unrealistic, bascially she is one of the few who does not require much to be entertained and is enjoying the travel aspect of her search while others care for her. Her frugal expectations of life give her the ability to totally enjoy herself as few other characters in the novel, living or dead, were ever able to do. I'm happy to be done with it.
As I write, Elizabeth is making stone crab. Yum!
Swimming and Dairy Queen Blizzard in the afternoon followed up with watching Dowton Abby.
