Sunday January 22

It took a while.  We don't adjust quickly.  However, I am outside writing in the Florida sun, listening to Ray Smith with earphones so I don't disturb the neighbors.
I love this stone table.  It is a bit hard and cold on the bottom, and I am not really in favor of the way they decorated the top, with broken bits of blue tile.  But otherwise I like it just fine.
It gives Elizabeth and I separate space without much interruption, and that is nice for a day like today when we are hanging out at home unless I go up gambling in the afternoon in Ocala.

The sun is up now and soon I'll have to take off my sweatshirt and just be in a tee shirt.  Amazingly abrupt change of weather.
I took a couple rides around the block, once going around two blocks.  Going to the left I get some workout up a hill, catch my breath, get a shaller workout, and then coast home.  Just right.
I have had two grapefruit halves today, the beginning of my new food addition.  These were the expensive and juicy pink from the Sweetbay market.  I'll look for cheaper ones at the flea market this week.
I also had a good measure of green tea this morning.  I'll try to have the 5 cups a day that made the difference in Japan.  I suspect my cups are somewhat bigger.  For iced tea I've been brewing the green with on bag of black. I like that blend flavor.  All in my Donegal Ireland tea pot.  My pleasures are simple.

Except for Ray in my ears it is quiet, but I think I could hear some gun firing a long way off.  Perhaps there is a range.

I did see some people walking dogs this morning when I was on my bike. I saw only one car.  The mild hills of this neighborhood are perfect for getting me back in biking shape.  My brakes work fine without noise.  That's a good job done.

This morning I cooked up left over rice, black beans, onion, red pepper, Bruce's garlic, seasoned it the with pepper seasoning and some garlic seasoning from the fair yesterday, and added in some Louisiana hot sauce.  A bit too much hot sauce, really.  I am getting to like the Louisiana as well as Frank's Hot Sauce which is good as the Louisiana brand  is half the price.

Elizabeth has some pain in her feet today.  Perhaps we overdid the walking yesterday.

Well, Newt won the South Carolina primary in spite of the attacks on his personal sexual history and all the talk of open marriages.  I still think that Romney will get the candidacy, but this will push him into being more conservative.  Democrats must be thrilled.  They know they can beat Newt.

Warm here now at 11:21AM.  I am outside in just a tee shirt enjoying the sunshine and not at all cold.  This is really fine and never ceases to amaze me that I can wake up cold and before noon it is as warm as summer at home.

We headed over to the pool and had a nice swim.  Now Elizabeth is cooking the Marlin from Shelly's.  Smells very good.
I decided to put off the gambling until later in the week.  I'm tired and no limit is tough when I am tired.
