Leap year gives us a bargain. One more day in Florida.
I drove up to the Ocala poker room and lost $35 playing Omaha and the 1-3 spread limit game. I had queens full for the high hand for 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes and it would have awarded me $100. Pretty lousy cards most of the day. My play was okay.
My new glasses will change my game. They work great at the table and I'll see the cards and the players and the television much clearer. The bifocals make perfect sense to me. The headache I had on the first day is gone. Driving is much easier and the slight tint seemed to take the edge off the glare of headlights. All in all I am still adjusting, but the expect to be quite pleased. Oddly, the whole thing should make me feel older, but actually seeing clearly makes me feel younger again.
I had iced cream up there and that was good.
Back at home Elizabeth and Ann Marie had made pork loin sandwiches. Those were good.
Not much else going on.
